Basil Pesto

  1. Remove basil leaves from stocks and add to food processor.
  2. Roughly chop garlic and add to food processor along with the pine nuts.
  3. Add some of the oil to the food processor and begin pulsing adding additional olive oil from the top while processing.
  4. Once pesto is combined well add cheese and process again until combined. Add additional olive oil as needed to ensure the mixture is loose and not to pasty.
  5. Use as a sauce with your favorite pasta or as a spread for bread or veggies.
